Wat Phra That Doi Suthep (Doi Suthep) – Chiang Mai – Thailand

The Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep temple is a major buddhist temple on top of the hill overlooking Chiang Mai. The Golden Chedi and adjacent temples is very revered as the worship dates back to the year 1383 when the first chedi was built. It is an important pilgrimage spot. There are spectacular views of Chiang Mai city and its surroundings from the top of this mountain.

Beautiful photos from Wat Phra That Doi Suthep in Chiang Mai. I had the pleasure of driving up to this sight on a motorbike and got to see other monks visiting too. Also went to the viewpoint overlooking all of Chiang Mai. If you’ve got some extra time in Chiang Mai it’s worth the time to drive up here!
